Task 6: Teaching with Comics

For this task we had to create a worksheet for students. As a basis we had to create a comic with www.bitstrips.com and for this we had to choose a specific topic out of the curricula. As you can see in my comic I choosed the topic of conditionals.

I think the idea of creating a comic for students is quite good becuase it is a nice refreshment and provides motivation. Furthermore, I think it also a good idea that the students have to create a comic on their own. They can work on a special grammar topic and can create a worksheet for their partner. Therefore, they improve their grammar and english on the one hand, while producing the worksheet and on the other hand, while working on the worksheets of their partner.
The tool bitstrips.com is a free tool, easy to handle and can be used not only for foreign language classes. Moreover, it can be used from grade seven onwards and is also intersting in higher classes.
